BMCE Capital has introduced “Cap’AI by BK,” a new Open Innovation initiative aimed at accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) within Morocco’s financial sector. The program seeks to foster collaboration among startups, professionals, and AI enthusiasts to develop cutting-edge AI-driven financial solutions.
The initiative, announced in a recent press release, welcomes participants from Morocco and beyond, including students, industry professionals, and AI specialists. Applicants can form teams of up to three members to contribute to the program’s objectives.
“Cap’AI” represents a strategic step in BMCE Capital’s digital transformation journey, building on the success of previous innovation programs such as “Cap’Tech,” “Cap’INov,” and “Cap’Women.” This latest initiative specifically focuses on harnessing AI to enhance investment banking and broader financial services.
The program aims to establish a dynamic ecosystem that brings together startups, researchers, technology partners, and industry experts. Participants will work on AI-powered solutions addressing critical financial sector challenges, with a particular emphasis on enhancing trading strategies and financial decision-making through predictive analytics and algorithmic trading, developing AI solutions to improve client interactions and tailor financial services, and implementing AI-driven automation to streamline workflows within financial institutions.
Through “Cap’AI,” BMCE Capital seeks to stimulate innovation, drive the practical application of AI in finance, and promote entrepreneurial initiatives within the sector.
Applications for the program are now open and will be accepted until April 30, 2025. Interested candidates can submit their project proposals via the official website: www.capai.ma.
By launching this initiative, BMCE Capital reinforces its position as a forward-thinking financial institution, embracing AI’s transformative potential to adapt to an evolving global financial landscape.
