School is good but skill is more powerful than school in today’s world.
Yes, it’s fit for publishiSurviving with your degree is more likely difficult than surviving with your skill.
Look around you and you will understand the current reality.
Don’t thinv with just having a degree ,there is work waiting for you out there.
The is that the number of people graduating and seeking to be employed is more than the job opportunities out there, the chance of getting a good job after the first 8 years after graduation is very difficult most especially in African countries where the government is never ready to create any real job opportunities for it citizens and if you decide to work in most private sectors today, the salary is always minimal.
I have seen so many degree holders face a lots of challenges in life because the system is not meant to thrive on their degrees.
The challenge is that most young men don’t read and understand the times that we are now.
During the days of our forefathers, formal education was the key, but today, the world has transit beyond that, and now, your skill is the key.
This is not to downplay the importance of getting a degree, but then it’s to put a strong emphasis on the need to not place your hope on just settling for a degree alone.
Before you succeed in today’s world, you need to think outside of the formal educational boundaries; you need to train yourself and learn a life-saving and money-earning skill.
You have to be informal about how you acquire education…
Spend your time going out of your way to learn how money works, learn how to socially engage with people, learn the stock market, learn sales, be innovative, be creative, learn to think outside the bus, learn digital marketing, learn S.E.O, Forex, crypto, be valuable and learn networking and also don’t forget to learn manual skills and hand works, etc just learn things, these things are skills you need.
If you depend on your degree alone you will suffer because 90% of the jobs you are hoping to get after you are done acquiring your degree also have thousands of people hoping to have the same job too, then ask yourself what is your edge?
Be wise.
After you get your degree, your learning shouldn’t stop there. Drop your pride and start learning skills with both, and you will be unstoppable.
A lot of people making it in life are people who have looked beyond their degree.
